Bruce Haas has been a partner at the Firm since 1989 and focuses his practice on complex patent litigation. Bruce has extensive courtroom experience and has served as lead trial counsel in patent infringement litigations involving pharmaceuticals and mechanical devices. He is known as providing "practical solutions to difficult problems" (Legal 500, 2013) and being "outstanding strategically and tactically," having a "good understanding of business and legal considerations relative to the dispute he is handling" and being "a good communicator and extraordinarily responsive" (U.S. News – Best Lawyers, 2010-11).
Bruce has wide experience in patent arbitration, patent evaluations and opinion work in fields as diverse as pharmaceuticals, business method patents and mechanical devices. He has served as trial counsel in patent litigations on behalf of major pharmaceutical companies, and on behalf of industrial-equipped and electronic device suppliers.
Bruce has served as Managing Partner in both the Firm's New York and Washington, D.C. offices. He presently serves on the Firm's Management Committee.
